  • Koch Associate Program - KAP

    KAP is a year-long program that offer professionals the opportunity to gain paid, full-time work experience. If you want to be a social entrepreneur who helps tackle the major challenges of our time this is the program for you. You will have the opportunity to work a non-profit organization and get professional development opportunities. You could work in Washington, DC, and specific states in through the US. Through KAP, participants will find a position at a participating organization in the Washington, DC, area and attend weekly professional development sessions at the Charles Koch Institute in Arlington, Virginia.

  • Koch Internship Program - KIP

    KIP is a semester long program in spring, summer, and fall. It is paid. KIP is for those who want to be introduced to the world of non-profit careers—either in Washington, DC, or specific states across the nation through hands-on experience in fields such as: For the duration of the program, interns will participate in weekly professional development courses, either remotely or in person at the Charles Koch Institute. They will spend the rest of the week working at a partner organization.

    A Day in the Life Typically Includes:
    • Develop an electronic Mergers and Acquistion opportunity tracking pipeline system
    • Migrate a country opportunity screening model from Excel to PowerBI
    • Advance in Excel and PowerBI
    • Learn about how the company considers risk, economics, political economy, and glass markets when looking at opportunities in countries in which the company does not already do business
    • Learn about how the team idenitfies and develops mergers and acquistion targets
    • Learn how to track opportunities
    What Will You Need?
    • Advanced in Excel (VLook ups, Pivot Tables, etc)
    • Must have at least a 2.8 GPA and currently enrolled in an accredited university
    • Must be a Junior or Senior status studying Economics, Finance or other related degree

  • Guardian Glass Auto CAD Design Engineering Intern

    Guardian Glass is seeking you to become our next AutoCad Design Engineering Intern in Auburn Hills, Michigan!
    A Day in the Life Typically Includes:
    • Converting 2D equipment drawings and rack drawings into Inventor 3D models
    • Revising 2D as-build drawings
    • Plotting project drawing sets
    • Learning about the glass manufacturing process
    The qualified candidate will possess the following:
    • Ability to read basic equipment drawings
    • Knowledgeable of general drawing and modeling requirements
    • Self-Motivation and ability to work in a team environment to achieve effective results.
    • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal & written)
    What Will You Need?
    • Mechanical engineering or designer education track
    • Have completed AutoCAD and Inventor CAD classes or have AutoCAD and/or Inventor experience
    • Fluent in English
    • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA and currently enrolled in an accredited university
    What Will Put You Ahead?
    • Proficiency with Autodesk products AutoCAD and Inventor
    • Microsoft Software (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • SXSWedu 2020 Student Startup Competition

    The Student Startup competition supports youth entrepreneurs, serving as a platform for high school students to showcase their business ideas. The competition provides students with a remarkable opportunity to showcase their talents, validate their business ideas, and gain experience. Students with a business idea are encouraged to apply during the application process July 1-November 8, 2019.

    Selected finalists will present their startup product to a panel of judges and a live audience at SXSW EDU, March 9-12, 2020. Additionally, finalists and attendees will have ample opportunities to connect through various social events during SXSW EDU. Student startup applications can be submitted by an individual or team. Fill out the online Student Startup application to be considered as a finalist for the 2020 competition. Monday, July 1 – Application Opens Friday, November 8 – Application Closes Eligibility Requirements You must be a currently enrolled high school student and 13 years or older in order to be considered. Both national and international applicants are eligible. Solo entrepreneurs and team applicants qualify.
