Unique Focus on Teacher Agency and Empowerment Leads to Positive Teacher and Student Outlooks

Despite a second school year being upended by a global pandemic, findings from two studies conducted by Empowered of its educators and students from the 2020-2021 school year indicate educators utilizing Em-powered’s teaching method of Experiential Self-Discovery™ have a great sense of empowerment in their roles, sprouting from a cultivated sense of agency. This leads to boosted self-confidence, in addition to observable student transformations as seen in shifts to a growth mindset. Given these results, it is clear experiential-learning programs utilized by education communities like Empowered can be valuable conduits to facilitate student transformation in a myriad of learning environments.
